Turn on the lights and open the curtains. Good lighting helps the camera see the room clearly and gives more accurate results.

Scan every room on the floor first. Scan the balconies and terraces at the end.

Point the camera at the floor of the balcony or terrace. You don't need to scan the walls or railings.

If there are tables, chairs or plants standing on the floor, just scan the floor around them. The area underneath is filled in automatically.

While you scan, and between scans, the app keeps track of where your phone is in the room. That's how it places every room in the right spot in the final floor plan. If the app is interrupted, it loses this position. That happens when you lock your phone, switch to another app or close the app. Before you can continue, the app has to find its position again by recognizing an area you've already scanned. This step is called relocalization.

Point the camera at furniture or an area you've already scanned. Try to look at it from the same angle as during the scan.

Relocalization works best when the lighting is the same as during the scan and nothing in the room has changed. Don't add, remove or move any furniture in between.
